Genuine App Store app · Official manual

Shadowrocket Official Download

A paid app with a one-time purchase, available only on the App Store. Check your account region and verify the app before purchasing.

Check the App Store listing for pricing, system requirements, device compatibility, and universal purchase availability.

App Store availability and account region

Shadowrocket is not available in the mainland China App Store. If you can’t find Shadowrocket in search results, check your account’s country or region first; search results alone don’t tell you whether the app is available. Your Apple Account country or region determines which storefront you see and which content you can purchase. The button on this page opens the US product page. Seeing its details in a browser and being able to purchase with your account are two separate things to check.

Check the account used for Media & Purchases

On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your Apple Account, then go to Media & Purchases → View Account → Country/Region. If prompted to verify your identity, follow the instructions on your device. Labels may vary slightly by system version, so follow what you see on screen. The key is to check the account and region used for App Store purchases—not just your device’s language, time zone, or Language & Region settings.

To change your region, go to Settings → Apple Account → Media & Purchases → Country/Region. Follow the instructions on your account page to check the requirements, payment details, and terms. Your account status may affect whether you can proceed, so this path does not guarantee that a region change will be possible. If you see a restriction, address the specific issue shown on the page before deciding what to do next.

If you’ve already purchased Shadowrocket, first look for it in the purchased items for the original account. Search not finding the app, a failed web redirect, and a payment error are separate issues involving store visibility, access, and account transactions. Don’t troubleshoot them by paying again. This is the official Shadowrocket website and manual. This page explains how to verify the app; purchase confirmation, transaction history, and redownload availability are shown in the App Store.

App Store · Verification

Three details to verify for Shadowrocket

Check the App Store listing first, then use the official screenshots to identify interface functions. Screenshots cannot replace purchase verification.

App name and official icon

The app is called Shadowrocket. Its official icon is a rocket outlined in blue and purple on a white background; check that it matches the icon shown here.

  • DeveloperShadow Launch Technology Limited
  • App ID932747118
  • Get it fromApp Store product page

Check every detail, not just the app name

Open the product page and confirm that the app is called Shadowrocket and that the developer is Shadow Launch Technology Limited. A similar name, description, or high search ranking is no substitute for checking the developer. If the listing only shows brief details, open the full product page before deciding. Don’t purchase directly from the search results list.

Next, check the official icon: compare the complete rocket graphic on a white background with a blue-purple outline, rather than relying on a similar color scheme. Third, check the app ID: the App Store link on this page ends in id932747118, and the number must match 932747118. The name, developer, icon, and product link should all match. If anything differs, stop and reopen the product page using the link on this page.

These are English-language interface screenshots uploaded to the App Store by the developer. Home shows Not Connected, Global Routing, Connectivity Test, and SERVER. Add Server shows fields such as Type, Host, Port, Password, and Method. They help identify where features are located; they do not mean that a server is ready to use after installation, or that every Type displays the same fields.

The in-app interface may vary with device size, language settings, and updates. Don’t use the position of a particular row in a screenshot as your only reference. Verify the app using the three App Store details; screenshots are only for interface reference. A different product page is not Shadowrocket, even if it has similar connection controls.

Add Server: Enter details from your existing information; fields vary by Type.

iPhone · First Open

Buying, installing, and opening Shadowrocket on iPhone

Installing the app gives you the client; you’ll still need to import your own configuration before connecting for the first time.

Check your device and purchase details before buying

Open the App Store product page on your iPhone and check the compatibility section, current price, and purchasing account. Complete the transaction in the system confirmation window. Refer to the App Store listing for system requirements; figures in older guides may no longer apply. Check whether your device can install the app against its current system status and the store’s message, not just whether the app appears in search results.

After the transaction, wait for the App Store to finish installing the app, then open Shadowrocket from the Home Screen. If the button remains stuck on a waiting state, check your device’s network, available storage, and any pending App Store messages. Purchase records, download progress, and the first connection are separate stages. You don’t need to change in-app DNS or routing rules before installation is complete.

Home and first-time VPN authorization

When you first open the app, take a moment to review the Home screen. Have your own subscription or server details ready, then enter them using an option such as Add Server. The Type determines which parameters you need to check. Host, Port, Password, and other details must match the information you already have. Screenshot fields show where to enter details; they are not real connection settings.

The first time you enable a connection, your device may ask permission to add a VPN configuration. This system authorization step creates the required network configuration on your device. Follow the on-screen instructions and complete identity verification if prompted. Authorization alone does not mean a server can connect or that your rules are correct. If you cancel, check the system prompt again the next time you enable the connection instead of purchasing the app again.

After authorization, return to Home, check the selected server and Global Routing, then enable the connection. Config, Proxy, and Direct refer to different configuration and routing options; choose the one that fits your existing setup. For complete import and verification steps, read the Shadowrocket Quick Start Guide. This page covers purchases, installation, and restoring purchases; a network connection result does not indicate whether a transaction succeeded.

iPad · Compatibility

Installing on iPad and using other devices on the same storefront

Check the purchase history for the original account, then verify compatibility with the device.

iPhone and iPad purchase history

You can use the purchase history for the same Apple Account to get Shadowrocket on iPhone and iPad. If you bought it on your iPhone, first check that Media & Purchases on your iPad is signed in to the original purchasing account, then look for it under Purchased in the App Store. Check the App Store listing for universal purchase availability, device compatibility, and system requirements. If a price appears, verify the account and purchase history before paying again.

On iPad, the larger screen may change the layout of lists and details or show more rows than on iPhone. When following this guide, look for labels such as Home, Config, Settings, and Add Server. A button in a different place from the screenshot doesn’t mean you installed the wrong app. Check the App Store listing first, then the name of the current screen to find the right control.

A purchase record does not tell you which servers or rules are saved on another device. After installing on iPad, check what appears in the lists and import your own subscription, server details, and configuration files as needed. Subscriptions and configuration files may contain personal access credentials, so keep them somewhere you control. Don’t share full addresses or passwords when demonstrating the app or asking for help.

Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision

The compatibility section of the same App Store product page lists Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision. If you plan to use Shadowrocket on one of these devices, check the product page in its App Store. Device compatibility, system requirements, and universal purchase availability are as shown on the App Store listing. An installation on iPhone alone does not mean every other device meets the requirements.

The App Store is also the place to get the app on these devices. This guide focuses on buying and installing on iPhone and iPad; its interface steps may not apply directly to other devices. Check the instructions against the screen on your target device, including its input method, layout, and system authorization flow. Checking compatibility before purchase can help avoid confusion later.

App Store · Purchased

New device, reinstall, and restore purchases

Restore the app and your configuration separately: first retrieve the purchase, then check your personal data.

Find it using the original purchasing account

On your new device, open the App Store, go to Account → Purchased, and find Shadowrocket to download it again. Some system versions may put the purchase list under a nearby option such as Apps; follow the screen you see. When the original Apple Account is signed in, the purchase record is available, and the product can be redownloaded, you usually won’t need to pay again. Follow the purchase record and button shown in the App Store.

If you can’t find the app in Purchased, first check whether Media & Purchases is signed in to the account used for the original transaction. Then check the list filters, hidden purchases, and account region. The account used for other services on your device may not be the one used to pay. Use your original purchase history to confirm which account made the transaction, rather than relying on the name currently shown on your device.

If the product page shows a price again, check your purchase history before proceeding. Being able to open the app on an old device doesn’t prove that the currently signed-in purchasing account is correct. Conversely, removing the app from an old device doesn’t erase the purchase record. Check app installation, account purchase history, and App Store redownload availability separately.

Import your personal configuration after restoring the app

After installing Shadowrocket on a new device, check what remains in Home and Config. Restoring the app from App Store purchases lets you get the client again; it does not guarantee that every in-app setting will match your old device. If you don’t have a usable personal backup, reimport your existing subscription or server details from your saved records, then check your rules, Global Routing, and connection authorization.

While your old device is still available, make sure your personal configuration is safely saved before reinstalling or switching devices. After restoring, check the addresses, protocols, and currently selected configuration, not just the list names. If the connection fails, follow the Troubleshooting guide and check each item. A purchase record does not prove that a server detail is still valid; check these separately.

Price · Purchase Scope

Shadowrocket price and one-time purchase

Separate the client purchase from connection details before checking what the one-time purchase covers.

US store: $2.99; confirm the price at checkout

Shadowrocket is a one-time purchase of the client, with no monthly client usage fee. The US price is $2.99; other storefronts show prices in their local currencies. The price at the time of purchase, as shown on the App Store page and system confirmation screen, is the one that applies. The price on this page explains the purchase model; it does not replace the App Store checkout price or establish fixed prices for other regions based on currency conversion.

Before confirming your purchase, check the product name, developer, account, and amount once more. After completing the transaction, you can verify it in your App Store purchase history. App updates are also delivered through the App Store. Check the store page for current update details and compatibility; don’t judge whether your installed app is up to date by comparing its appearance with a screenshot in this guide.

Prepare your own details after installation

Before configuring the app, you should already have your own subscription or server details. The client imports, manages, and uses this information; check its validity and required parameters against your existing records. The purchase of the app and the validity period or usage limits of external connection details are separate matters. A one-time purchase of the client does not mean an existing subscription will remain valid indefinitely.

If Home shows Add Server but your list doesn’t contain your own server, configuration is not complete yet; this doesn’t mean anything was missing from your purchase. Choose an import method that matches the information you already have. When entering details manually, check each field, including Type, Host, and Port. If you have a configuration file, use Config to confirm that it was imported correctly and enabled. For rule syntax, see the Rules and Configuration Reference.

After these checks, make your first connection and verify access. If something goes wrong, identify whether the issue is with server details, Global Routing, DNS, or rule matching. Don’t attribute a network issue to whether you paid, and don’t try to fix a connection by purchasing the client again. Troubleshooting the App Store transaction separately from app usage gives you a clear item to check at each step.

Purchase · Questions

Shadowrocket download and purchase FAQs

Find the guidance for the message you see. Check purchase history, device compatibility, and connection status separately.

Why can’t I find Shadowrocket in the App Store?

Shadowrocket is not available in the mainland China App Store. Your Apple Account country or region determines which store content you can see. First, check your account region under Settings → Apple Account → Media & Purchases → Country/Region, then open the App Store product page linked here. Changing the storefront in a web address does not change your account region. Check your account page to see whether you can change it.

Why can’t I download it even though the App Store page opens?

Read the specific message in the App Store, then check the account used for Media & Purchases, the account region, payment status, device compatibility, and available storage. Seeing the product page in a browser does not mean your account can purchase the app. If you’ve already bought it, check your purchased items before paying again.

Do I have to pay again when I get a new device or reinstall Shadowrocket?

Sign in with the Apple Account used for the original purchase, then look for Shadowrocket under App Store → Account → Purchased. You can usually download it again without paying, provided the purchase record and redownload option are available in the store. A purchase record is not a configuration backup: on a new device, restore a configuration you saved or reimport your existing subscription and server details.

Can I use Shadowrocket on my iPad if I bought it on my iPhone?

You can use the purchase history for the same Apple Account to get Shadowrocket on iPhone and iPad. Make sure Media & Purchases on both devices is signed in to the account used for the original purchase, and check device compatibility in the App Store. See the App Store listing for system requirements and whether the purchase is universal.

Can I install Shadowrocket on Mac, Apple TV, or Apple Vision?

The compatibility section of the same App Store product page lists Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision. Check the listing in the App Store on the device you plan to use. Device compatibility, system requirements, and universal purchase availability are as shown on the App Store page. The App Store remains the place to get the app.

The app is in English. How do I follow the guide?

This official manual keeps interface labels such as Home, Config, Global Routing, and Add Server in English, so you can match them directly. Use Home to check the connection and servers, Add Server to enter your existing server details, and Config to manage configuration files. Assess the interface language separately from authenticity. Verify the genuine app by checking its developer, icon, and app ID.
